Hello my crafty friends
Note: For some (crazy) reason, Instagram and Facebook have blocked my posts. Facebook says my cards 'do not meet their community standards', and Instagram thinks my blog is spam. Grrrrrrrr. But until they do their reviews I am unable to comment on IG or share anything on FB.
It's Saturday and that means a new challenge at the Crazy4Challenges Blog. our March hostess is Frances Byrne and please welcome our Guest Designer Barb Anders - Paper Pursuits. I've long been a fan of Barb's creations!
I received this pretty foiled patterned paper last year as a 'free with purchase', so pulled it out to make a couple more cards. One is a sympathy card for my stash and the other is a 'hello' card that I sent to my Mom to let her know I was thinking about her.
I used a pretty scalloped card die set by Stephanie Barnard, which is where the flowers and 'so sorry' came from as well. The Sprig Punch is from Stampin' Up.
Here is a peek at the inside where there is lots of room to write our message when I need the card.
This second card is made almost identical, although the centre stitched circle is smaller and has a die cut 'hello'. I also added some punched butterflies.
In the photo below, you can see the foiled bits in the patterned paper, the pink pearlized card stock and the glittery Nuvo Drops that help to give this card just a little something extra.
I wrote mom a note inside.
Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C474.
