Llama, Butterfly and Beach Chair Pop-Up Gift Card Holders

Hello my crafty friends

It's Masculine Card Monday here on my blog and today I'm sharing a trio of Pop-Up Gift Card Holders using a die set by Lynda Kanase. I want to give a set of Gift Card Holders to our son's girlfriend for her birthday, and also package some up to give a friend.

The first one features three die cut Adirondack chairs and would leans more towards masculine.

I took a photo both with the sample gift card I use for photos, and without so you can see the pop up a little better.

The second card has a Llama and a die cut grass border.

I got this stamp set from the Pink and Main booth at the Mesa Rubber Stamp show in March.

I used coordinating papers and my Punch Board to create envelopes for these Gift Card Holders.

The third one uses a printed butterfly from my stash - considering the paper and embellishments were from different companies, they went together really well.

Supplies:
Patterned paper - K & Company (Old, from my stash)
Card, Gift Cart Holder Pop-Up - Lynda Kanase
Kraft card stock

Seven Slider Pop Up Gift Holders

Hello my crafty friends

Today I'm using an older die by Lynda Kanase to make a group of Slider Gift Card Holders. I'm also using some older patterned paper from my stash!

There are a couple of 12 x 12" sheets of cut aparts in the paper stack, and I used a bunch of them on these cards. When closed, you can't see the gift card that is hidden inside.

When you open the gift card holder, the gift card slides out and is revealed. So fun! Each one has a cut apart decoration and a circle as a place to write a message.

I used my least favourite pattern in the paper stack and the Envelope Punch Board to make envelopes for each of the gift card holders.

Here are a few detail shots:

Here is a short YouTube video so you can see how these Gift Card Holders work:

Supplies:
Card, Slider - Lynda Kanase
Patterned paper - Pebbles
White card stock
Circle dies - Hero Arts
Washi Tape - stash
Envelope Punch Board set for a 3 x 4" envelope
Label punch - Stampin' Up

Masculine Pop Up Gift Card Holder Duo

Hello my crafty friends

I have been having so much fun with Karen Burniston's latest release I forgot I wanted to make a bunch of Gift Card Holders for our son's girlfriend's birthday. I also wanted to give some to a friend, so decided when I make one for Hannah I can also make one for my friend!

I loved this Stampin' Up stamp and die set when it first came out last year and it was the first thing I added to my shopping cart when that catalogue went live. It's just so perfect for masculine projects!

I used some patterned paper from my stash and of course kraft card stock. I've been using that a LOT lately!

To create the Pop Up Gift Card Holder, I used a die set by Lynda Kanase. I get SO much use out of that die set!! This is what it look like inside and you can see the slots where you would insert a gift card.

The second one uses the same elements, just different patterned papers from the stack.

I added one of my sample gift cards to show you what the Gift Card Holder looks like with a gift card inside.

I didn't have any envelopes that would work well, so I made my own with coordinating patterned paper and my Envelope Punch Board!

Supplies:
Patterned paper - Prima
Carad, Gift Card Holder Pop-Up - Lynda Kanase
Kraft and white card stocks
Gears and car stamps and dies, Geared Up Garage - Stampin' Up
Sakura White gel pen
Stitched Rectangle dies - Your Next Stamp
Envelope Punch Board set up for 3 x 4-1/2"
Nuvo Drops

Christmas Envelope Gift Card Holder

Good morning friends

As soon as I saw Karen Burniston's Gift Card Label die set, I knew I wanted to try this idea. It is not a new one - we used to make these years ago and called them 'All In One Cards'.

It is held closed with Bakers Twine, but you could also use ribbon or make a 'belly band'. I am going to try that next!

I used the Envelope Punch Board for the envelope, sizing it for a 5" square card.  I really like the punch boards, and the envelope one makes short work of creating many different sizes of envelopes (and more!).

On the inside flaps I used the large snowflake from the Winter Charms die set, snipping off the hanging hole. The Gift Card Label is adhered inside the card so it's all ready to slide a gift card into. The smaller labels are included with the Gift Card Label, as are the flourishes and hearts.

I don't have any holiday themed gift cards yet, so added this one as a place holder.

I like to have Gift Card Holders on hand for the holidays, and hope to have a nice selection of them this year all finished and ready to go.

Supplies:
Patterned paper - Stampin' Up
White card stock
Green star dream card stock
Dot stamp - Stamps by Judith
Envelope Punch Board - We R Memory Keepers
Bakers Twine
Red brush marker

Size - 5-1/4" square

Stash-buster Christmas Gift Card Envelopes

Good morning friends

When I was working on a Christmas card, I realized I had a bunch of bits and pieces that I could use on something. I LOVE using things up - especially things like this that have been hanging around waiting for a project. I decided to use the Envelope Punch Board and make a couple of Gift Card Envelopes for the holidays.

I used a Stampin' Up paper pack that I had purchased from their Clearance Rack. I am getting so much out of that pack! The paper is heavy enough for these envelopes but not too bulky that this couldn't fit into an envelope with a card. Plus, it's double sided so having a pretty pattern when you open the envelope is a bonus.

I went to put these into the box of 'Tags and Gift Card Holders' I keep on hand, and found a whole pile of holiday tags that didn't get used last year. Looks like I won't have to make any tags at all this year!

Supplies:
Envelope punch board (4 bar setting) - We R Memory Keepers
White, red and green card stocks
Patterned paper - Stampin' Up
Label stamp and punch - Stampin' Up
Holly chipboard embellishment - my stash
Green marker - Staedtler
Christmas Charms, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs) - discontinued
Stickles

C4C-388 Fight Like A Girl Flip-It Card

Good morning friends

It's Saturday so that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Our April 2017 Hostess is Joanne Grzelak.

Here is Joanne's Challenge: Today is Repeat Day. On your creations this week, you are to repeat some part of your design at least three times. Could mean three same sized circles, three of the same flower.......three of something on your card.

I chose to make a card for a friend battling Breast Cancer. I used some pink patterned paper from my stash, and also made a coordinating envelope using the Envelope Punch Board.

Ahhhhh the Punch Boards. I stayed away from them because I just don't have room to store stuff like that. But I found one on clearance and thought I'd see how I liked it. Well ... I love it! Stopped at a Michaels in Great Falls on the way down to Arizona in the Spring and they had the Gift Bag Punch Board on clearance so I grabbed that too. Later that month I used a coupon and got the Alphabet Punch Board, which I'm ashamed to say I haven't even opened yet.  Of course I still don't have the ideal spot to store the Punch Boards, but thinking I might look at hooks on the back of the door to slide them into. We will see...

The ribbons were cut from pink card stock, coloured a little with Zig Clean Color Markers, and then they each got a coating of glimmer with a Wink of Stella pen.

I couldn't help it, but this little pig was sitting on my stamping area and I just had to add it to make my friend smile. (Which it did).

Inside I tried something a little different, scoring and stretching the Stitched Fishtail Banners across the whole space.

For the challenge, I have three circles, three pink ribbons and 3 fishtail banners. Three threesomes ... bonus points, I'm sure. Ha!

Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd  love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C-388
