Llama Shaker Pop-Up Card

Hello my crafty friends

Our Granddaughter Olivia turned eight this month and she was having a Llama birthday party. So of course I made her a Llama birthday card!

I added a cute balloon shaker to the front using supplies from Queen & Company, then cut the stamped sentiment into strips and adhered them over the shaker.

It's hard to see in the photos, but the hello on the Llama's blanket and hat are done with a yellow glaze pen so those areas are raised and shiny.

In addition to it being a shaker card - I added a Pop-Up inside using Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-Up and her Happy Birthday die. Olivia was SO excited when she opened the card - she just loved it. I asked her what she liked best - shaker cards or Pop-Up's and she didn't miss a beat. POP-UP CARDS all the way - that's my girl.

The cute sentiment is by Taylored Expressions and I'm getting a lot of use out of it.

Finally, if you'd like to pin card fronts and insides together, here you go!

For those of you who don't know, Olivia was diagnosed with advanced Pulmonary Hypertension when she was three years old. They didn't think she would make it to see four so the fact that she just turned eight is a Really Big Thing. We treasure every single moment with her and we are thrilled that she is managing to hold her own against this awful disease, while remaining aware that things could 'go south' at any time.
