Your Next Stamp April NEW RELEASE Blog Hop

Hello my crafty friends

Welcome to the Your Next Stamp Blog Hop - there is lots of inspiration using the new release, prizes and also a store special!! This is a fun release, and I have a few favourites already. The Stitched Fishtail Banner dies are going right beside my stamping area because I will reach for them again and again. The Fishy Background stamp is another one - I may have squealed when I first saw it. So perfect for any underwater or beachy themed cards as well as masculine cards.

Before I get to my card for the Blog Hop, I wanted to let you know that there will be one $25 Gift Certificate to the Your Next Stamp store as a Blog Hop prize! While you don't have to comment on every blog to win, the more blogs you visit and comment on, the greater your odds are of winning.

Now - onto my card share today. While I am looking forward to playing with the new Photo Booth Thumbs Up stamps and dies with the Photo Booth Panel Die and also the Photo Booth Polaroid Die - for my card today I added one of the cute images from the Photo Booth Thumbs Up to a die cut circle, and added words from the new Whatnot Sentiments Thirteen onto one of the new Stitched Fishtail Banner dies.

I love fishtail banner dies and this set comes with three different widths so they will accommodate lots of different sentiments and images. I used the widest one for my card, trimming the left edge so it would fit under my decorated circle.

I created my stitched sunburst background with a die set that has been on my Your Next Stamp Wish List for ages - the Scrapworks Large Sunburst die set. I have been having so much fun with it - it's a great way to use up some of those lovely paper scraps most of us have hanging around. Twelve of the sunburst pieces would make a full background, but I only went with six today and trimmed the sunburst panel smaller with the Stitched Rectangle dies.

I also added a few of the Tropical Paradise Gumdrops for a little shine. I'm loving those things and I'm definitely going to need to order more of this one with the bright, happy colours.

For the inside, I used the Stitched Rectangles to cut a portion of the patterned paper that had this doily, fishtail banners and flowers already printed on it. Then I simply stamped the Thumbs Up in Stone Grey Ink and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

A couple more of the Tropical Paradise Gumdrops were added inside as well. Our Son-In Law just received a rather prestigious teaching award from our University, so this card will be going to him. We are all so proud of him!

There is also a store special, where you can save 20% off your ENTIRE purchase! Just use the coupon code below.

Don't forgot to leave a comment so you have a chance to win the $25 Gift Certificate to the Your Next Stamp store. The Your Next Stamp Design Team and Guest blogs are linked below. The new release will be available at 11am today (April 4th). The Blog Hop runs until April 7th The winner will be announced on the YNS Blog on April 9th 2019 Have fun!
