'Sending You Kindness Confetti' Slimline Card

The Falling Confetti is going to be a fun stamp set for many different occasions - Birthday's, Graduation, New Years, even for a Wedding! But there are some great sentiments included that make this stamp set even more versatile, so my card today is one I made to send out for Happy Mail.

After stamping the largest Confetti stamp at the top and bottom of my Kraft panel, I heat embossed the images with a blue and a green sparkly embossing powder.

The sentiment was stamped with an old rainbow ink pad onto a Stitched White Fishtail Banner, but since the ink pad is old it was also fairly dry. I pulled out my Chameleon Fineliner markers, which allow you to write or draw with different colours simply by swapping the marker tops. I went over the stamped greeting with three marker caps and one marker and was very happy with the final result. The Fishtail Banner was adhered at an angle, trimming off both ends.

The Heart Stripe Die Set is also one of the new sets in the release, I cut it three times from glittered card stock - once from green, once from blue and once from white. Then I alternated the pieces onto three card stock hearts which were die cut with the second die in the Heart Strip Die Set. I only used one of the sparkly hearts on my card today, but I have two left for future projects!

I added three white sparkly Gum Drops then popped the panel up onto the Kraft card base with foam tape.

Inside, I heat embossed the Falling Confetti once more at the top of the white panel. I die cut the heart shaped window below that and backed it with a transparency piece for some shine. The Marvellous Day is from the new Hammie Happy Birthday stamp set, and it was stamped onto a YNS Stitched Fishtail Banner. Then I added three sparkly blue Gum Drops.
