Monster Shaker Tag

Hello!  It's time for a new Challenge at Your Next Stamp -
the Fun Friday Challenge #155 with the theme:  New Beginnings

The Fun Friday Challenges come with two chances to win prizes!!
Comment on the YNS BlogInstagram or Facebook pages for a chance to win a free stamp set. Comment on all three to increase your chances, but comments must be left by January 13 2021. The winner will be announced the following Friday on the YNS Blog.

More details about the prizes at the end of my post!

How did I interpret this challenge? Well I didn't need any new baby, wedding, engagement or new home cards. But I DO want to make more tags in the coming year. Nice, layered and fun tags that people will enjoy and (hopefully) want to hang onto for a while. So I made a tag!

My friend Kelly had sent me some of these tiny googly eyes last year, so I added them to the stamped and coloured monster.  The shaker was created with the now famous Stitched Rectangle Frame Set and I used some older patterned paper from my stash.

To create my tag base, I cut card stock 3 x 5" then trimmed off the top corners. I cut a second backing piece as I like my tags nice and sturdy. Before adhering them together I did the stamping on the back one and sandwiched a strip of black card stock at the bottom edge, in between the layers. The sentiment had already been heat embossed with white powder.
