Batty Bitty Ball Pop Up Card

Hello crafty friends ...

It's time for Karen Burniston's September Designer Challenge, and this is KB's challenge  for the Design Team:  Theme: "IN THE WILD!" - make a project incorporating an animal made by stacking the Bitty Ball on the Surprise Ball.

I have a YouTube video for you where I go over the details of this fun Pop Up Halloween Card!

Instead of the other way around, I stacked the larger Surprise Ball on top of the Bitty Ball for a 'big headed bat'. I'm not really a fan of bats, but this fella is pretty cute!

I went over all the details in my YouTube video, so won't put them here as well - but I did hand cut the wings and my #16 elastic had 5 knots to make it work for the Bitty Ball.

I didn't add google eyes or any other bulky element to my card, and it really does fold down flat enough to go through the mail with one extra stamp!

The Design Team is posting all of their fun projects for the challenge and you can check them out on the right of my blog, where I have their blogs linked. Karen Burniston will have her post tomorrow (Wednesday) on her blog:  https://karenburniston.typepad.com
