Hello my crafty friends
Today I'm sharing an elegant foiled Centre Step card I made for friends. The pretty square linen envelope is even more special because I lined it with some of the foiled patterned paper.
I have had these gold acetate snowflake elements for YEARS, and they worked perfectly on this size of card. I also added some metallic peel off border stickers and gold snowflake peel-offs. This is one shiny card!!
Here is a peek at the inside:
Supplies:
Center Step die - Cheery Lynn Designs
White card stock
Patterned paper - Brightly Gleaming, Stampin' Up
Gold Acetate Snowflake elements - K & Company (my stash, many years old)
Word stamp inside - Merry Christmas to All, Stampin' Up
Peel Off's - Elizabeth Craft Designs
6" Square linen envelope
Card size - 5-1/2" square, fits in a 6 x 6" square envelope
Merry Christmas Eve!

ReplyDeleteLovely card! I, too, have that same K & Company ephemera pack and pulled it to use this years. It's awesome to see card art using these. What adhesive did you use on the acetate images? Thanks so much for sharing!

Hi Peach ... since there is no REPLY button for the comments on Blogger, I have to respond with a comment. I used both small Glue Dots and small bits of double sided foam dimentionals to adhere the acetate. They disguised pretty well, although I did add a small gold peel off sticker in the centre of the large layered snowflake. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, Karen; you did a fabulous job. No adhesive shows at all! Happy New Year and hope you have some smashing plans!
