Margarita Shaker Card

Good morning friends

What happens when you have had a rough week and you are already placing a small on-line order? You add a few extra things than you had planned ... like this cool Margarita Frame & Window die set with coordinating shaker pouches.

I was talking directly with the store owner of R&R Scrapbooking, who has just opened a brick & mortar shop. She said she was collecting cards to decorate her front entrance and since she has really fast shipping (from Edmonton) I thought I'd use my new goodies from her to make them a celebration card.

I used Karen Burniston's Alpha dies for the R's and a gold gel pen to add an ampersand to the black stem. The Congrats die is from my stash.

If you look closely, you will see little clear plastic ICE CUBES!!! Yes, MFT Stamps also has those, in addition to the shaker pouches, frames and window dies. I couldn't resist adding a package to my order and I will definitely order more. So fun!

I wrote a note inside. The pretty patterned paper is by Lynda Kanase (Sizzix) and I am really enjoying playing with this 6 x 12" pad. Lynda included some cut-parts in this pad so I cut the Toucan Of Love piece from one of the papers and adhered it to the left side of the card.

I included the photo below so you can see the pretty laid texture on the paper pad. Love it!

TROPICOOL VIBES 6 x 12" paper pad - Lynda Kanse (Sizzix)

Thanks for stopping by today
