Floral Spray Card Duo

Good morning friends

I was excited to receive my recent order from Pink and Main. I loved this floral spray stamp from the May release SO much I just had to place an order. And when it came I had to play with it right away. I have lots of ideas for it, and I think I will stamp and emboss several panels so I can have them on hand for quick card fronts. You can add so many different greetings & images in that centre space!

I pulled out my Zig Clean Colour Markers to add the colour with a water brush. I love how vibrant it turned out! The Pink and Main Smile die was one I picked up this Spring. There is a coordinating stamp set as well but I didn't use it on this card.

Below you can see the card as it is opening, where the words inside are sideways.

I haven't used the Snowman Twist Circle Pop-Up for awhile, so that is what I used for the card inside.  I stamped, embossed and coloured a second image then cut it in two and layered one half on each side of the card. The centre circle twists and pop's up as the card is opened.

I have a small stack of pretty backgrounds done with ColorBursts and Magical Shakers, and when I saw how well the colours of this one matched the card, I cut the beaded ring from that.

I immediately made a second card and since the colours are so similar I decided to post both cards together ... below is the second card using the stamp set.

White it shows dark in the photo, the gold scalloped panel and words are a much lighter gold - as is the embossing powder. Funny story - this gold embossing powder is about 20 years old. I had a devil of a time getting it to melt smoothly and it wanted to stick everywhere even though I used an anti static tool. So I'm thinking it's time to get some new gold embossing powder!

While the stamp set comes with a Thinking of You stamp, I decided I liked the dimensional look of a die cut greeting instead. Below is a peek at the inside. My Mom was recently hospitalized so this is the card I brought to her. There was lots of room inside to write our message.

Finally, here are the two cards together.
