C4C-444 Sketch Card

Good morning friends

It's Saturday so that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog! For July, our hostess is Rebecca Ednie and our Guest Designer is the amazing Teresa Kline of Paperie Blooms.

Since this is the third Saturday of the month, Rebecca's challenge is a sketch:

I had to move one of the elements on the sketch so the card was more balanced, but other than that I stayed pretty close to it. I used one of my new Pink and Main stamp sets for my card today and had lots of fun colouring the stamps.

I used the Tim Holtz deckle edged dies, but realized when I was making this card that these dies aren't sized for the A2 cards. I mean, they fit - but not with even borders all around. That is disappointing. I would not have purchased them if I had realized that - and I was so excited about them at first.

I used the Southwest background die cut as a stencil on the white panel then stamped one of the arrows from the set on the kraft one.

Inside I used a few more stamps from the set in coordinating colours.

This card is enroute to Sri Lanka, where we sponsor a boy through World Vision.

Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd  love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C444.
