Slimline Sunshine Shaker Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing my weekly Design Team post for Crafty Meraki and my card shows a different way to use the 3 Room Studio Slimline Die set. By disguising the centre area (here I used a layered stitched square) you are left with a window on either end. I used those areas to create shaker windows. Our dies are an investment and I like sharing different ways you can use them!

The sun is from Lawn Fawn and I made that into a shaker as well. For this one though, I kept it to a single layer of foam tape and small, thin filler so it would still move around. The stamped clouds and sentiment come from the Valentine stamp set by Crafty Meraki.

While the centre square does stick up above the fold, the entire card is still less than a 4" height so it easily fits into a #10 Business envelope for mailing.

This sentiment from the Valentine set was perfect to work with the sun shaker!

One more look ...

"Crafty Meraki is a tribe of women who are all creators but more importantly, love helping others in any way we can!

Meraki (may-rah-kee) a verb, or adverb, a Modern Greek word, derived from the Turkish “Merak” (Labor of love, to do something with pleasure), is applied to tasks, usually, creative or artistic tasks, but can be applied to any task at all. Meraki means to do something with passion, with absolute devotion, with undivided attention.

Crafty Meraki was born out of a vision to help creators do what they love doing the most- to create!"
