Striped Heart Valentine Flip Card

I am a big fan of Your Next Stamp, and their new Fun Friday Challenge #107 is to use Die Cuts for your creation. All the details for the Fun Friday Challenge #107 can be found HERE and I am playing along with my card today.

I started with the Half Heart Flip die from Your Next Stamp for a quick and easy Valentine Card. If you follow my blog you know how much I like to make this type of card (Flip card, Flip-Fold card, Flip-its, Z-Fold are some other common names) but I didn't have any heart shaped Flip dies before now.

The Stipe-Tastic die set (also by Your Next Stamp) cuts these perfectly centred stripes into your project and they fit perfectly on the largest Half Heart Flip die! I like the peek-a-boo look this gives that centre heart.

I did the stamping on a smaller white heart and attached that inside. There is another white heart with a stamped greeting that is hidden until the card is opened.

While it's hard to see in the photos, the cat has a shiny back nose.

I added a couple of enamel heart shapes to the card as well.
