Tweet Gift Card Holder

Hello crafty friends ...

Today is the day we can start to share previews of some of the November release at Your Next Stamp. I love having Gift Card Holders on hand for the holidays, so I used an idea by Rachel Tessman on Pinterest to create this one. It's so easy to make as I explain in the YouTube video HERE.

How cute is this bird decorating his branch for the holidays? I used YNS Black Olive Ink and die cut it with the coordinating die, then coloured with my Ohuhu alcohol markers. The patterned paper has lots of sparkly bits in it so I also added some Stickles to the berries, ornament caps and Santa hat.

To decorate the right edge, I die cut two of the long tags from the new Cute Holiday Tags Die Set, offset them then added a stamped and die cut bow from the Cute Bows set. These Bows are great, and can be used all year round!

Inside I added a gift card, and stamped the bird & branch as well as a sentiment from the set.

I think it would be fun to make a set of these to give as a gift - you can make them in any theme and for lots of occasions.

I did go over it in the video, but if you are looking for measurements here I'll add them again:

• Cut your card stock 11" x 4.25".
• Score it along the 11" edge at 1.5" and 5.5".
• Fold the 1.5" towards the inside of your card. 
• Use wet glue just along the top and bottom edge of the 1.5" flap to adhere it inside the card which creates the pocket that holds the gift card. I prefer wet glue as tape runner can lift with the depth of the gift cards, and they tend to get stuck in the adhesive.
• Fold the card closed at the 5.5" score line.
• Decorate the panels as desired.
