White Embossed Thank You Cards

Good morning friends

Last month I purchased this pretty floral stamp from Pink and Main and wanted to play with it again for some Thank You cards.

I used 110# card stock from Michaels and cut one sheet into quarters. Then I added distress oxide inks to my glass mat, spritzed with water then dunked and dragged three of the quarter panels through the puddles. After they were nice and dry I die cut all four with a scalloped rectangle die.

The floral stamp and the words were stamped with Watermark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder and then I decided there wasn't quite enough contrast to make the images pop. I pressed some of the blue Distress Oxide ink onto an acrylic block and picked up the colour with a water brush. Then I simply painted around the outer edge and the stamped centre area.

After making the three identical cards, I decided to colour the fourth white embossed panel with Derwent Intense pencils and drag the colour out with a water brush. Then I used the same technique as the other three with DO inks to paint outside the floral image.

White bakers twine and tiny pearls were added to each card, then they were popped up on card bases with fun foam.

I was so happy with how these cards turned out. Since I love dimension on my projects, the popped up panels, twine and pearls all worked together to give me the dimension I like while keeping the cards fairly simple.
