Floral Background Birthday Card Duo

Good morning friends

Sometimes a product makes me gasp - and that is what happened with this beautiful floral background die by Taylored Expressions. I didn't need it, wasn't looking for it - but when I saw it while browsing for something else online, I just had to order it. I've made a couple of cards with it already and thought I'd share the next two.

Both cards were made nearly identical - I started by adding swooshes of colour on two panels of white card stock, then die cut the image using a metal shim. The centre portion is supposed to come away but for these cards I added it back in as I liked the nice solid portion in the centre. I knew I wanted to use the delicate banner die and having the centre of the background open was just too busy.

Some hand lettering, a 3-d floral sticker, a metallic dragonfly sticker and Nuvo Crystal Drops finish off the card fronts.

Inside is a stamped sentiment with another metallic dragonfly sticker.

I was happy with how this second card turned out as well.

Both of these went to my Mom as she was getting very low on Birthday Cards.
