Your Next Stamp March Release Preview, "Easter Love" Card.

Hello crafty friends ...

It's preview day for the March Release at Your Next Stamp! There is a chance to win a prize as well, so be sure to scroll all the way to the end of my post to see those details. I made an Easter Card using an image from the new Easter Love stamp set (with coordinating dies) and the new Stitched Frame die set. OMGoodness, I'm loving those Stitched Frames with their double stitched line. So fun!

I cut a mask from some release paper (the kind that stickers and labels come on) using the Wonky Scallop Edge die, and used that with my new blending brush to create the cloudy sky. Then the inked grass was added to the bottom using the Grass Edge Die. Once the Egg and Chicks image was stamped and die cut, I coloured it in with copic markers and added it inside the frame using a Mini Action Wobble. I love how it bobs and wobbles around on the card!

Note, I find the thick plastic base on an Action Wobble to be a bit of a pain and the outline of it sometimes shows on the good side of your project. The nice thing about coordinating dies, is that you can easily cut a second one and it will perfectly match the one you cut with the stamped image on it. Adhering the two together makes your element nice and sturdy and it won't bend or crease from the Action Wobble.

Finally, here is a peek at the inside. I liked blending the sky so much on the card front, I did the same on the inside.

The brush I'm using is the Big Beautiful Blending Brush from the Cat's Pajamas. I have really liked my Amazon makeup brushes for blending, but heard such good things about this one I had to try it. Wow! So glad I did. I added another grass strip, a scrap of the rainbow chevron paper and the sentiments that come on the Easter Love set.

This card will go to our Grandson Ethan, so I avoided any pinks or a lot of sparkle.

Now for the prize information!
