Fun Friday Challenge #132 - Sending Hugs Card

Today I have a card for Fun Friday Challenge #132 at Your Next Stamp. The theme is   "Create Your Own Background - Ink it up, stamp it up, blend it up, however your please".

Since I like cards to have an interactive feature, I added a little fun fold inside! The white panel measured 8 x 3" and was scored in the centre. Then the dies from 'Home Is Where the Heart Is" were used to cut the top edge and the panels were adhered inside the card at the outer edges making sure the white strip was even with those two outer edges of the card base. The card base is 8-1/2" across (unfolded) and the die cut strip is only 8" across. By adhering it to the outer edges only, you get some dimension as the house strip doesn't go all the way to the centre of the card but still folds completely flat for mailing.

The Fun Friday Challenge #132 runs through February 20th at midnight. One random participant will win a $15 gift certificate to the Your Next Stamp store.  If YNS stamps or dies are the focal point then the winner receives an additional $5 gift certificate for a total of $20.  The winner will be announced on the YNS Blog the Sunday after the challenge closes.
