Good morning friends
Here is the inspiration photo:
When looking through some patterned papers to use, I found this one and decided it was pretty close even though the teal/blue isn't as vibrant as the photo. I used Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-Up for my card today, cutting a window from the front and lining it with frosted vellum. When the card is closed, you get just a peek at what is inside.
I used the same patterned paper inside the card, and added a cupcake from the Cupcake Pop-Up decorated to match.
I love all the different hearts that are included with the Katherine Label, so used them here for embellishments.
The bow on the cupcake got some shading with a Copic marker, then a coat of Glossy Accents. I used coordinating colours of Nuvo Crystal Drops on the cupcake icing and the cherry also got some Glossy Accents.
Below you can see how dimensional the Katherine Label Pop-Up is. You can place it anywhere you want on the fold and I like that I get to choose the size of card to make. This one is one of my go-to sizes ... 6" x 5", which fits nicely in a 5 x 7" envelope.
It's Saturday so that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Rebecca Ednie is our hostess this month and our Guest Designer for September is Teresa Kline. You can see Teresa's blog HERE.
This is Rebecca's challenge: Inspiration Challenge - be inspired by this photo. Please use a cake or mint/aqua, coral, gold
and white or ivory. Brownie points for doing both!

This card will probably go to my SIL for her birthday.
Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C405.
