Flower Shaker Birthday Card

Good morning friends

I had so much fun making today's card. Rather than make a shaped flower card, I used the Flower Fold-it's die to make a cute flower shaker on my card front.

The sparkly today banner was fussy cut from a different piece of the patterned paper in the stack and added on top of the shaker pouch. These shaker pouches from MFT Stamps are SO much fun. I didn't think I would use them until I got the Lip Balm pouches and then I was hooked. The circle ones are hard to get your hands on as they are constantly sold out. I was so happy when I was finally able to add some to my stash. Then I had to try to find the frame dies, which were sold out every single time I tried to order them this Spring. So my circle opening is a little larger than the centre of the pouch on this card, but I did finally track down the circle frame dies so that won't be a problem any longer.

Here is a peek at the inside. I was able to use more of this patterned paper stack which I've had for a long time and am trying to use it up.

Shaker cards are just plain fun and I have really been enjoying making them lately. This one is for our niece and I know her kids will have fun shaking it as well.
