Cupcake Birthday Card Duo

Good morning friends

My share today is a pair of cupcake birthday cards. The pretty scalloped card base really dresses up a card, don't you think?

The cupcake is from Karen Burniston's Cupcake Pop-Up ... the cupcakes work for flat cards too! I added sequins for some sparkle and shine, and a little glitter on the cherry. The patterned paper also has embossed and shiny bits in it which is perfect for a birthday card.

I tried using Stickles to hold on the sequins but they popped right off. Live and learn. I adhered them again with Glossy Accents which is what I have been using. I also picked up some of Ranger's Collage Medium and it works really well too.

Supplies:
Card, Scallop with Flowers and Sentiments Drop-Ins - Stephanie Barnard (Sizzix)
Red soft finish card stock - Elizabeth Crafta Designs
Patterned paper - DCWV
Green and light peach card stocks
Stitched oval die - MFT Stamps
MISTI
Fun foam
Stickles
Sequins
Word stamp - MFT Stamps
Glossy Accents

Thanks for stopping by today
