Trio of Birthday Cards

Today I'm sharing a trio of birthday cards that I discovered in my 'In Progress" bin. Well, the patterned paper panels were in there, all cut to size. I pulled the papers out, decided on the layout that I must have been imagining when I did the cutting (years ago) then added some narrow gold tape for shine.

Cutting Karen Burniston's Happy Birthday & shadow dies from both gold mirror cardstock and white, I completed the card fronts. I also finished off a sheet of Peel Off stickers from my stash, with the gold party hats. These catch the light and show up better in real life than in the pics.

Here is a peek at the inside and all three cards were donated to my Mom's old nursing home.

Having been asked how many cards I make I thought it would be fun to keep track this year. Many of my posts include more than a single card or project and below is my tally.

Card Tally for 2023
January - 53 cards
February - 56 cards
March - 55 cards
April - 32 cards
May - 43 cards
June - 34 cards
July - 56 cards
August - 106 cards
September - 61 cards
October - 51 cards & 5 Tags
November so far - 24 cards

I decided to cancel the subscription that provided linked thumbnails to what products I used on my cards. It was costing me out of pocket each month, so I’m back to listing what I used.

Supplies:
Patterned paper - old, from my stash
Narrow gold tape - Amazon .ca
Happy Birthday and Happy Birthday Shadow dies - Karen Burniston
Peel Off Stickers - old, from my stash
Inside sentiment - BD Wishing, Colorado Craft Co
