Teapot Shaker Slimline Card

Hello!  The newest Fun Friday Challenge at Your Next Stamp is #167 "Home Sweet Home". I made a Fold Flap Slimline card with a shaker teapot. Tea always makes me think of home, comfort and my Mom!  I have details on how you can enter to win a prize at the end of my post.

To create the card, cut your card stock 7 x 8.5". With the 7" side across the top, score at 1.25 and 3.5". The first score creates the flap that you fold to the front of your card. You can leave it as is and decorate all the panels, but I generally adhere my flap to the front of my card at the top and bottom with thin foam tape.

Below is a better look at the shaker. Instead of foam tape, I die cut the teapot 4x from heavyweight white card stock and once from the patterned paper. Stacking them all together gave me the height I needed for the shaker elements.

Here is a look at the inside, and there is  lots of room to write a note on the white panel.
