I made so many Fall & Thanksgiving cards last year that I didn't need to make any this year. Then, I ran out of time and didn't get any mailed for our Canadian Thanksgiving in October, so now I have lots for next year too. Sheesh. At least I can mail cards to our American friends & family this month. I found this single 12x12" sheet of fall themed paper in my stash and decided to use it up. I made 4 different sized cards and will be sharing them throughout the week. This 5x7" Z-Fold crd is the first one.

Six Thanksgiving Pop Up Cards
Hello! This year I'm making an effort to finish off a lot of the 'in progress' cards I have in my craft room. That is where these six came from, and I have all the details on YouTube:
I loved this patterned paper and wish you could still get the K & Co paper pads. Both the Happy Thanksgiving on the card fronts, and the leaf & pumpkin inside were cut from a mottled foiled card stock and I adore the shine. I also added some gold Glitter Dots!

“Happy Fall Y’all” Blog Hop!
Hello crafty friends ...
I was excited to be invited as a Guest Designer for this "Happy Fall Y'All Blog Hop" by Scrap 'n Stamp. Anytime I have an opportunity to share and promote a Canadian company I'm happy to do so, and I have been a customer at Scrap 'n Stamp for several months now.
This Blog Hop is going to be fun - and there is a chance to win a prize!! More information on that in a bit.
If you prefer to see the card in action and hear all the details, I have a walkthrough of my card on YouTube! That video can be found HERE.
Box cards like this can sometimes take a long time to create so I wanted to do a simplified version for you. As I showed in the video, I was able to cut 24 stitched leaves with only two passes through my die cutting machine! I did ink the edges of my leaves because I prefer that look - but you could easily leave off this step to save time.
Box cards can also be bulky, so I didn't use nearly the foam tape I normally would have for a 'regular' card and that offsets the extra layers of card stock from forming the box.
Now for the prize information ...
We are randomly selecting a winner for a $50 gift certificate. The name will be chosen from comments left on the blogs (each blogger will select a name, then a winner will be chosen from those names).
Note - Saturday is World Cardmaking Day so there will be tons of great products on sale at the Scrap 'n Stamp online store 20-50% off!
Below are the links for the Blog Hop. Hop along and be sure to leave comments so you have a chance to win that amazing prize from Scrap 'n Stamp!
Guest Karen You are here!
