Wish Stand Up Birthday Card

Hello my crafty friends

Today I'm sharing an Easel, or Stand Up birthday card.

This is how the card looks coming out of the envelope - it folds completely flat for mailing. The green banner actually coordinates much better in real life than in the photo, ha ha.

This is what the card looks like inside - the patterned paper is very sparkly which I always like for a birthday card.

Black and White Thank You Stand-Up Card

Good morning friends

Well Christmas is behind us for another year. I will continue to work on my holiday cards throughout the year, but will take a break and I promise not to post any Christmas projects for at least a month or two!

Today's share is a Thank You card using some older items from my stash as well as Karen Burniston's new Thank You die.

The patterned paper has embossed sparkly bits, which is very hard to see in the photos. Here is the card as it would come out of the envelope ...

... and here it is standing up for display.

The base die cuts a little notch for the folded portion to rest against and hold it up, but I chose to add the layered strip with foam tape to catch the bottom edge of the stand-up portion. It holds it open nice and secure! I also added lots of black Glitter Dots for a little more sparkle and shine.

I wrote our note of thanks on the label inside the card.

Easter Stand-Up Card Duo

Good morning friends

Today I have a couple of Easter Cards to share that I made last year but didn't get posted.

While I love interactive card dies, I'm not entirely sure about this one. Easel or Stand-Up cards may just not be 'my thing'. I do like the glittered patterned paper though - it seems perfect for Easter cards! The eggs are stickers and the die cut grass is the little grass clump that comes with Karen Burniston's Garden Bench Pop-Up.

The words inside were done on the computer, and the bunny stamp is a group of 3 that I cut apart after stamping them.
