Scarecrow & Pumpkin Pull Card

Good morning friends

It's FUN FOLD FRIDAY here on my blog, and today's share uses a retired die by Karen Burniston - the Rectangle Pull Card. I always loved those Pull Card dies ... so still get them out to use now and again.

I created the background panel with Distress Oxide inks, then adhered the adorable scarecrow. This set was one of my early Lawn Fawn purchases, and I still just love it! The felt pumpkin sticker was in my stash, so I added it as well as a stamped and die cut pumpkin.

Here is a peek at the inside, with a greeting on the left and a space for us to sign our name on the right.

Supplies:
Rectangle Pull card - Karen Burniston (Retired)
Patterned paper - DCWV
Confetti card stock, off white
Felt pumpkin sticker - stash
Scarecrow, pumpkin and crow stamps - Lawn Fawn
Copic markers
Sakura white gel pen
Black and clear Sakura gel pens
Words inside - TAWS (no longer in business)
Distress Oxide inks

Farm Week Card #5

Good morning friends

Not only is it Farm Week here on my blog, today is also Flip-It Friday. I have a farm themed Z-fold Card to share today, using the Rectangle Pull Card die by Karen Burniston. My goal this year is to use some of my older products along with my newer ones - so I've had great fun with the Papertrey Ink 'On the Farm' stamps and dies for my cards this week.

When I stumbled onto a farm themed paper stack, I was off and running and made a set of cards for our Daughter on Mother's Day.  The mason jar element was fussy cut from a different paper in the stack. The notch (which cuts with the die) holds the card in the closed position until you pull the sides to open it.

Tomorrow is a Crazy 4 Challenges card, but I'll be back on Sunday with my final Farm themed card for this week.

Supplies:
Pattered paper - Recollections
Farm stamps and dies - Papertrey Ink
Lucy Label Pop-Up, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Twine
Pink and grey card stocks
Banner punch - Stampin' Up
Stitched Fishtail Banner - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Rectangle Pull Card, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Rectangle Accordion (rectangle), Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Scallop Rectangles - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Wink of Stella

Card size - 4-1/2 x 6"

Southwest Themed Pull Card Trio

Good morning friends

I was so happy to see Joset's new designs at Elizabeth Craft Designs, I had to order some right away. Today is Flip-It Friday here on my blog, and I have a trio of Pull Cards to share using the new ECD dies and the Rectangle Pull Card by Karen Burniston.

With three cards, this is a photo heavy post - be forewarned!

The first card uses these wonderful Arrow dies and some arrow print paper from my stash.

I used teal Soft Finish Card Stock, cream card stock and red Stardream - a lovely pearlized heavyweight card stock.

These stars are from a gift bag set that was sitting out on my stamping table. They just seemed to match so I decided to use them as well.

I left the card blank until I go to send the card.

The second card uses the same teal Soft Finish Card Stock, this time as the card base for the Rectangle Pull Card. It's such a lovely rich colour, and it's white on the reverse side. I'm actually on my second package of it!

The Dreamcatcher is another one of the new ECD dies - and oh, I'm in love with that one. On the right edge I added some of the negative pieces from the ECD diamond background die I'd cut for a different project.

Once again, I left the card blank and will add a greeting when I go to send the card.

I was so happy with the way this third card turned out. The zig-zag border and top feather were cut from gold foil card stock.

The border was a 'free with purchase' die from MFT Stamps last year and I'm having lots of fun with it. The little gold feather on the inside of this card is from the dreamcatcher die set.

Into my stash with these three cards. I can use them for masculine Birthday, Thank You, Thinking of You or Father's Day cards etc etc.

Kraft card stock
Patterned paper - Studio Calico
Rectangle Pull Card, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)

Foxy Hello Card

Good morning friends

Today I'd like to share a cute little Double Z Fold card I made for a friend. I had just received the Foxy Friends Stamping' Up bundle so had to play with it right away.

Here is the card in the closed position...

I added some glaze pen details to the fox's stamped face.

Inside I added the spinner from Karen Burniston's Rectangle Pull Card to animate the little smile & heart word balloons.

This was a fun card to make ... and I really like the spinner idea to add a little somethin' somethin' to the inside as it opens.

Supplies:
Black linen card stock
Patterned paper - My Minds Eye
Foxy Friends stamp & punch - Stampin' Up
Black Glaze Pen
Rectangle Pull Card (spinner), Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Word Balloon stamps and dies - Lawn Fawn
Label punch - Stampin' Up
White card stock

Card size - 3-1/2 x 4"

Feather Pull Card and Treat Bag

Good morning friends

It's Masculine Card Monday here on my blog, and I wanted to share a Pull Card and Treat Bag I made for a friend. I owed her some money for a favour she had done for us, and you know I had to make it special.

I had just received my Elizabeth Craft Designs purchase with these wonderful feather dies and since my friend lives in Arizona I thought they would be the perfect touch for her card. The card base uses Karen Burniston's Rectangle Pull Card.

I had done a test cut of the Diamond Background die, so used it as a stencil to add some design to the textured card stock.

Inside is where I wrote her a note.

I made a 'Zig Zag Bag' and embossed it with a Bark embossing folder, then adhered a single feather to the front.  Inside I added her money and a few coffee flavoured candies.

Because I was hand delivering the card, I packaged these two up together in a clear bag envelope.

Supplies:
Rectangle Pull Card, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Feathers - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Bakers Twine
Diamond Background (as a stencil) - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Pan Pastels
White card stock
Bark embossing folder
Cafe au Lait Soft Finish Card Stock - Elizabeth Craft Designs
Zig Zag Bag - The Stamps of Life
Blue card stock

Hello Pull Card

Good morning friends

It's Flip-It Friday here on my blog, and I have a simple Z fold card to share today. I used the Rectangle Pull Card by Karen Burniston for the card base, & some older and new dies too. One of my favourite parts about the Pop it Ups Pull Cards, is the notch that holds the card in the closed position.

When you pull the sides, the notch releases and the card opens to reveal the inside. Here I used layered stitched stars die cut from patterned paper. This card went to Sri Lanka, to a boy we sponsor through World Vision.

I've been adding some basic shape framelits to my supplies lately since I realized I did not have any leaves, hearts or stars. I did have the big Sizzix leaf dies and Sizzix primitive stars and hearts ... but no wafer thin dies in those shapes. The larger star dies on this card are new, but the smaller stars were fussy cut from coordinating patterned paper.

Supplies:
Patterned paper - My Minds Eye
White car stock
Stitched Star dies - The Stamps of Life
Hello die - My Favourite Things
Wink of Stella
Word stamp - Cornish Heritage Farms
Rectangle Pull Card, Pop it Ups - Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)

Card size - 5 x 6", which fits in a a 5 x 7" envelope
