Bear and Trees Birthday Card

It's Fun Fold Friday here on my blog and today I'm sharing a fun fold card using the 4 Panel Fold Card with Layers from Divinity Designs. It's the perfect die set to feature scenic patterned paper, so I pulled this birch tree sheet and got to work on my card.

The bear and party hat - they are from Taylored Expressions and every time I use them I remember how much I love them. I even did some colouring using alcohol markers - something I have not been doing much the past year or so. The party hat pom pom and the bears nose got some shimmer and shine because it IS a birthday card. 😊

Below you can see all the panels and how the card looks on display.

Cutting the tree border from Karen Burniston's Long Nature Edges twice, I trimmed them down and added one to each of the two centre panels. I felt like they just needed a little somethin' somethin'.

Late last year I was asked how many cards I make but I didn't have a clear number. Since many of my posts include more than a single card or project, I thought it would be fun to keep track this year.

Southwest Themed Four Panel Birthday Card

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to Masculine Card Monday here on my blog. Today I'm sharing a Four Panel card and I have a walkthrough on YouTube:  

I pulled out several different product lines for my card, and everything available is linked below for you. The photo above shows what the card looks like coming out of the envelope. When you open that first panel, you see the Happy Birthday, a fussy cut feather and a hawk.

The sentiment was stamped on the final panel, and I added a couple more silhouette die cuts ... they were cut from a charcoal pearlized card stock so they have a little more 'life' than if I'd used solid black cardsotck.

Cheery Four Panel Fold Card

Hello my crafty friends.  Today I'm sharing a fun fold card that is ready to send off for Happy Mail. I used the Four Panel Fold Card Die with Layers from Divinity Designs, and some Doodlebug goodies with all of the details on YouTube:  

The first photo shows what the card would look like coming out of the envelope, and below you can see the card fully open.

I added some glitter glue here and there for some sparkle ... white gel pen highlights too.

The back of the card has a stamped sentiment and a few more bits from Doodlebug, and that is where I will write the message.

Four Panel Fold Floral Birthday Card

Hello! This is the ninth card I've created using the April Blessings Box at Divinity Designs, and I have linked everything  below. The card base uses the 4 Panel Fold Card with Layers, which is a Divinity Designs die set I purchased a couple of months ago. I love how versatile it is and if you follow me you know how much I like card dies that include the layering pieces!

The papers in the Floral Favourites Paper Pad are just SO pretty, and I also added the Happy Birthday and Layers to the second panel. It's hard to see in the photos but I added orange gems from Studio Katia and they have lots of shine in real life. The flowers are from the Paper/Die Duo Set 3 (April Blessings Box) and the stamped sentiments are from both the Magnolia and the Sweet Friend stamp sets - also included in the Blessings Box.

Below is what the card looks like when it is fully open and the white label on the final panel is where we can sign our name when I go to send the card.

Divinity Designs - June Release

Hello!  Today I'm sharing two cards using the June release at Divinity Designs. The first card is a fun fold using the Four Panel Fold With Layers and I have a walkthrough of my card on YouTube:

Lovely Day Accordion Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing my sixth card using the April 2021 Blessings Box from Divinity Designs. All of the stamps, dies and patterned paper used today are from Divinity Designs and are linked below. I also have a walkthrough of my card on YouTube:

 

I purchased the Accordion Card with Layers die set back in April and I am really enjoying it! I know you can use a Belly Band to hold the card closed, so maybe the next time I use it I'll try that. Love how easy it is to change up the look of this die set.

The photo above shows what the card looks like coming out of the envelope, and I used the pretty blooms from Beautiful Blossoms Paper/Die Duo Set 3. The sentiments were white heat embossed onto Double Pierced Vintage Labels and come from the Sweet Friend stamp set from the Blessings Box.

The beautiful papers in the Floral Favorites 6 x 9" paper pad are just stunning, and I love using fun fold card die sets like this that showcase all those pretty florals.

Succulent Four Panel Fold Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing another fun fold card using a die set from Divinity Designs. About two months ago I purchased their Accordion Card With Layers die set, and recently I purchased this one - the Four Panel Fold Card With Layers. This is another die set I am hoping to use with my huge stash of large pattern 12 x 12" patterned papers.

Below is what the card looks like fully open - and it stands very nicely for display!

The large succulent was fussy cut from another 12 x 12" sheet in the package.

The bonus of having layering dies, is I was able to place this one exactly where I wanted it on this patterned paper sheet to capture as much of the two hanging planters as I could.

This card has already been delivered to a friend who just celebrated a May birthday!
