Easter Bunny Tag

Hello! It's time for another Fun Friday Challenge at Your Next stamp, and #161 has a theme of "Sunshine and Smiles ... Include sunshine and/or smiles on your creation.

I chose this adorable smiling bunny from YNS's Spring Smiles stamp set to make an Easter Tag to tie onto one of the Easter Goodie Bags I'm handing out to our kids & grandkids this weekend. The images were coloured with Karin Water Colour markers. After die cutting with the coordinating die set, I added them to a layered Stitched Fishtail Banner.

Floral Spring Tag

Hello! Today I'm sharing another Easter Tag that I'll be tying onto an Easter Goodie Bags I have for our kids & grandkids. This tag is for our middle daughter and I used a new floral stamp set! I am lacking in the floral stamp department, and had looked at this set in the Stampin' Up Mini Catalogue many times but never ordered it. Then I realized it appealed to me so much because it a SOLID image to stamp rather than one that needs to be coloured in. The stamp set comes with layering images and I am really going to enjoy using it!

I stencilled around the outside edge of Crafty Meraki's Love Slimline Tag, and included a square vellum doily under the pretty flower.

I wrote Happy Spring and added some big sparkly gems from my stash. The nice thing about tags, is they can be as bulky as I wish!

Supplies:
Love Slimline Tag - Crafty Meraki
Art Gallery Stamps & Dies - Stampin' Up
Shimmer brush pen
Incredibly Grateful Stencil Set - Pink Fresh Studio
Copic markers
Vellum doily
Shimmer Spray
Black marker
Bling - stash

Ladybug Easter Tag

Hello! Today I'm sharing one more Easter tag -  this one will be tied onto our Grandson Ilai's Easter Goodie Bag. Since they actually celebrate Passover and not Easter, his tag is more Happy Spring than Easter. I used the Leaf & Ladybug from Lawn Fawn.

I started out die cutting two of the Slimline Celebrate Tags. After stamping the leaves from a Stampin' Up set I added some clouds with a blending brush and blue ink. The two tags were glued together so it would be nice and sturdy and I wrote the words Happy Spring with a black marker. Colouring was done with fine point markers.

The leaf was die cut from green card stock and the fall away pieces were inked and added back into their openings. Then I cut the ladybug and added both to the tag. A white gel pen was used to write his name on one of the leaf sections. Then I added some ladybug pieces that are meant to be used inside shaker cards. I bought them from a Canadian seller on Etsy, and I will link her below.

Supplies:
Ladybug & Leaf - Lawn Fawn
Celebrate Slimline Tag - Crafty Meraki
Card stocks
Leaf stamp - In Bloom, Stampin' Up
Glitter Brush Pen
White Gel Pen

"Spring is Here" Tag

Hello!  It's time for another Fun Friday Challenge at Your Next Stamp and #160's theme is "Cool Inspiration"... Julie has a photo inspiration for us! Take inspiration from the photo - grey/pink, floral print, diagonal, circles - you choose!

I went with the pink & grey colour scheme and made an Easter Tag to tie onto our Granddaughter's Easter goodie bag. Miss Alma LOVES pink, which cracks me up because she never used to like anything remotely 'girly'. Ha.

Since they will be celebrating Passover, I tried not to make it TOO Easter-y but these YNS chicks are too cute without being only for Easter. I also used the Stitched Wavy Circle dies, which have long been a favourite of mine. The script SPRING was cut twice from white card stock and adhered together so it would be nice and sturdy.

Easter Tag with Chick & Lamb

Hello! The Your Next Stamp Design Team is sharing Spring Themed Cards this week and for my share I created another Easter Tag. I have nine white Easter Goodie Bags on my stamping counter for our kids and Grandkids and my brother - and this tag will be tied onto his bag. I used images from the 'So Ewe-Nique' stamp set as well as the Cool Tag 6.

After die cutting my tag from the patterned paper, I cut a second one from white card stock and adhered the two together. I always like a sturdy tag! My images were coloured with Ohuhu markers with highlights added using both a black glaze and a white gel pen. Finally I added some sparkly Gumdrops! It might be hard to see the shimmer in the photos, but the chick's tummy and the Easter egg were swiped with my glitter brush pen.

Bird & Basket Easter Tag

Hello! I'm sharing another Easter tag that I will be tying onto one of the white gift bags I have for our kids & grandkids for Easter. I have nine of them all lined up on my craft room counter ... and I'm really feeling how cramped things are with all of these bags in there! At least Easter isn't too far away and it will be worth it when we can give them to the family at Easter ... however that plays out this year. Last year it was virtual, but maybe this year we can at least do a porch visit. We won't be going to or hosting a family Easter celebration inside though.

The oversize tag is from the Celebrate Slimline Tag by Crafty Meraki and I lightly stencilled it with a STAMPlorations stencil. The cute 'Birdie Easer Basket' is by Your Next Stamp. I added lots of green to this one, as it will be for Zachary and he loves green. In fact, he will likely notice all the green on his tag!

The only tag I have left to do is for Ilai ... and they celebrate Passover rather than Easter so I will have to put my thinking cap on for that one.

Peony Easter Tag

Hello! I'm back today with another Easter Tag. I have nine white gift bags lined up in my Craft Room, that I have been filling with Easter Goodies for our family ... the grandkids, our kids and my brother. This is the tag I'll be tying onto our eldest daughter's bag because she loves peony's!

I started with the Love Slimline Tag by Crafty Meraki, and cut it twice from white card stock. One was embossed with this planks embossing folder and swiped with a sponge & brown ink then they were adhered together for sturdiness. The peony was die cut from a couple of different card stock scraps and then I inked the edges of each layer. It's really easy to put together - I was pleased!

I tucked in one of the vellum doily's and a couple of punched sprigs, then added the Happy Easter which is from Karen Burniston's Easter Charm die set. To add some sparkle, I added Wink of Stella and a little pink bling.

I still have a few more tags to share between now and Easter!

Supplies:
Love Slimline Tag - Crafty Meraki
Peony dies - Stampin' Up
Card stocks
Shimmer Brush Pen
Vellum Doily
Wood Plank 3-D Embossing Folder - Stampin' Up
Taylored Expressions Blending Brushes
Sprig Punch
Shimmer Spray

Easter Egg Tag

Hello! Today I'm sharing one of the Easter Tags I'll be tying onto small white gift bags for our Grandkids. I filled the bags with Easter goodies ... so I didn't want the bags to be too big and have their parents annoyed with the amount of sugar in them. Ha.  This tag is for Ethan ... because he loves BLUE!

I used the Love Slimline Tag by Crafty Meraki for my tag base, and then the cute Easter Love stamp set and coordinating die from Your Next Stamp.

After die cutting the tag, I stamped it in various colours of ink using a border stamp. I actually cut two tags and glued them back to back as I like my tags to be nice and sturdy. I have made a couple of other Easter/Passover tags and will be sharing them in the coming weeks.
