Hello crafty friends ...
It's time for the March release at i-crafter, and the Inspiration Team is having a Blog Hop with PRIZES!! See the end of my post for the details. I made a larger card, and used the pretty new Flower Bursts die sets along with the way cool Haley Alphabet.
See how each inside petal is cut away from the outer border? All with a single pass through your die cutting machine! The white on the flowers and HBD is actually white pearl card stock so it has a pretty shimmer that is hard to capture in photos. I added second, smaller layered flower on top of the first one for dimension. The leaves were cut from a second patterned paper in the package, and I outlined the cut out's from the top layer with a white gel pen.
Check out the new Haley Alphabet! A Die Set that also cuts an outline. Here I cut the HBD twice, once from some peach paper from the paper pad, and once from white pearl card stock. Then I alternated the outlines with the inserts - and I have a second one (in reverse colours) for a different project!
Inside the card there is another one of the smaller flowers and a few fallaway pieces from the detail leaf die on the card front to mimic greenery.
I will add a birthday verse inside when I go to send the card, which allows me to personalize it for the recipient.
I hope you enjoyed my project, and that you will hop along to see what the rest of the Inspiration Team came up with using the new release!
