Let's start with the Heart Hands Wiper Insert - I used that to create my card. How cute is it, when the card is fully opened the hands join together to form a heart with their fingers. In addition to the YouTube video below, showing the card in action, I have LOTS of photos for you. And yes - the dies are BLUE. Love that.
Remember you can always check out my YouTube Channel HERE and see the videos larger than they appear on Blogger.
These hands coming together to form a heart are just SO cool! I die cut the heart from black, then again from scraps of white, pink and red ... then inlay the coloured pieces into the black outline for some additional pops of colour.
For a signing block, I used the Zip Gift Tag and layered it with the For You that is included in the Zip Gift Tag set. It was cut into the white fishtail banner, and the words pop with the pink layer I added behind it.
Below is a side view so you can see the pop up a little better.
I made a second project for the Blog Hop, with the Zip Gift Tag ... you pull back the zipper and that reveals a gift card hidden inside. Note, the zipper is meant to go at the top of the tag, but as usual I used the die differently than intended.
There are several different shapes (and words) that you can cut into the tag and I chose the heart image for this one. The blue areas were done with a marker and I backed the opening with white card stock. You could also leave it with the gift card showing through the openings as sort of a teaser.
Here are both projects together ...
I have been having a lot of fun with this Wiper Insert, and you will be seeing me use it a lot. Without the hands, it becomes a generic wiper mechanism that you can add inside a card and animate all kinds of things. I have a notebook page full of ideas to use with it!
