Here is Maryann's challenge: Create a card to celebrate a popular travel destination. Any place, town or country. What a fun challenge!!
We live in the foothills of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Literally minutes down the highway are miles and miles of beautiful country with camping - and people come from all over the world to camp in our National Parks and Kananaskis Provincial Park.
Today's share is one of the first Charm Accordion cards I made using Karen Burniston new release in cahoots with Riley & Company. I made it for this challenge though, so have already shared other Charm Accordion cards that I made after this one.
The die cuts two joined pages at a time, but instead of cutting & joining a second set of pages to make a four page accordion, I cut the second set of pages in half and adhered one on each side of the original.
When I was looking through this paper stack, I saw the page that had the 3x 4" printed journal cards used for pocket scrapbooking. I was delighted to see that they fit perfectly on the Charm Accordion, so added them on either side as well.
Here are a couple of photos that show a close-up of the charm portion. The set comes with a jump ring die (amazing!) which I cut from white pearlized card stock.
The hinge die is also included, and is used to join additional pages. You can add them to the front or back or both - but here I put them on the front as I liked that look. I coloured inside the holes with a silver gel pen to mimic studs/nails, and they catch the light when the card is turned.
Here is the card from the back, with another pair of journal cards adhered. A fun birthday card for someone who likes camping and the great outdoors.
Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4C393.

love how you created this so the Charm accordion is only in the centre part of the card. So fun!
