Mini Slimline Cup of Flowers Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing my first card made with the April 2021 Blessings Box from Divinity Designs. If you missed my unboxing video, you can find it here:  BLESSINGS BOX UNBOXING.  After working with the kit (4 cards made and lots more to come) I am as excited about it as I was when I opened the box!

This Mini Slimline card uses the stamps and florals from the Blessings Box, as well as other dies and beautiful papers from Divinity Designs. The Cups & Mugs die set is one of my latest DD purchases and since I adore the shape of the teacup, that is the first one I wanted to play with. I cut it and the saucer from a scrap in the Floral Favorites Paper Pad. 

The beautiful printed flowers come in the Blessings Box, along with dies to cut them out. So no colouring, no scissors - just beautiful flowers and the blooms and leaves all cut with a single pass through your die cutting machine!

The stamp I used is from the Magnolia Stamp/Die Duo, which is also included in the April 2021 Blessings Box.

There is lots of room to write a message inside the card as well ...

Paper Pumpkin Alternate with the Circle Charm Pop Up

Hello - it's Fun Fold Friday here on my blog! Using a couple of the stickers from the April Paper Pumpkin Kit, I made a fun Paper Pumpkin Alternate card with Karen Burniston's Circle Charm Pop Up. I have a YouTube video with all the details:  

You will notice I added an additional Pop Up inside the card using one of the rainbow stickers from the kit! I was happy with how this worked out and will be doing it again for sure.

Remember Karen Burniston has assembly videos for her pop up dies!  Once you know how to assemble your die, the rest is card size, paper and colour choice as well as embellishments! You can change the look of your card every time you use the dies. :-)  I always enjoy showing you different ways you can use your dies once you know how to assemble them.

'YIPPEE' Mini Slimline Card

Hello!  Today the new release is available in the Your Next Stamp online shop and we are celebrating with an Instagram Hop and a sale! Details & links for the Hop (with prizes!) are near the end of my post. I also have a YouTube video showing all the new goodies that are included in this release: 

I used the new Home Stretch, Wonky Stitched Ovals and Slim Stitched Panel dies for my fun card today. 

I did end up splicing the dog image and separating the shoulder area from the body just a little, so it would fit in the openings better. Below is the inside, and I wanted to point out that the patterned paper has a bit of a wave to the pattern so it looks like it is crooked in the photo. I considered re-doing it, but this will be Happy Mail for one of our Grandkids and they will not be bothered by it at all.

Flip Fold Card and Z Fold Card for Divinity Designs

Hello!  I'm on the Divinity Designs Blog today, with these two Fun Fold Cards. I have a walkthrough on YouTube as well if you are interested in more details or want to see the cards in action:  

This first card uses the Vintage Label Flip Fold with Layers and beautiful paper from the Floral Favorites Paper Pad. The adorable bear is from the new Hog Wild Stamp/Die Duo and I added a couple of flowers from the Bitty Blossoms too.

Here is the card partially open ...

There is room to sign below the sentiment, which comes included in the Hog Wild Stamp/Die Duo set. The Celebrate comes in the Celebration Word dies and after adhering it I went over the letters with a Wink of Stella for additional shimmer.

Next up is the Z Fold Card along with the new Happy Mail Stamp/Die Duo set and the same patterned paper as above.

This is the back view, with a sentiment stamp from the My World stamp set and lots of room to write a message. The pierced strips use the smallest dies from the Slimline Pierced Rectangles and Slimline Pierced Layering Rectangle die sets.

Hoppy Birthday Slimline Card

Hello!  I'm on the Crafty Meraki Blog today with this cute and colourful Slimline Birthday Card. The adorable bunnies come from the new "Don't Worry Be Hoppy" stamp set which was released in the shop yesterday. All month, Crafty Meraki will have amazing new products being released on Monday's to celebrate their One Year Anniversary!!

I started my card by die cutting the Crafty Meraki View From My Window Slimline die from white card stock, adding cheerful colours with Heffy Doodle's "" Stencil which is also available in the Crafty Meraki shop.

I lightly stencilled clouds on the white card base where they would show through the openings, and stamped the grass from the "Don't Worry Be Hoppy" set, then adhered the stencilled panel on top. The images were stamped, coloured with comic markers, fussy cut and added around the windows with foam tape. I love a sparkly bunny tail, so I added Stickles to those as well as some Wink of Stella for additional shine.

Here is a peek at the inside where I added a little more stencilling and added Wink of Stella over the black stamped sentiment. The panel was die cut with Karen Burniston's Long Crosshatch Rectangles - I really like the detail that gives the edges.

Cactus Mini Slimline Card

Oh Baby Slimline Shaker Card

Hello!  Today Crafty Meraki is sharing another week of new stamps and dies for their Anniversary Release. Friends of ours are new Grandparents, and I wanted to make them a card to celebrate so the new "Oh Baby" stamp set was perfect!

I used the Three Room Studio Slimline die to create the shaker card, and decorated it with fussy cut images from the "Oh Baby" set.

Two More April Paper Pumpkin Cards

Hello!  Today I'm sharing another two cards made with the April Paper Pumpkin kit, both of them will be sent to our Grandkids for Happy Mail!

This first card was made pretty much as the card instructions, although I didn't use one of the included envelopes. Instead I added patterned paper to the flap of a #8 envelope - the ones I use for Mini Slimline cards. These shaped cards fit better in these ones vs the included A2 envelopes.

This next card is actually a small card ... it's 3.5 x 5" and fits in an A1 envelope. Those are the RSVP card size for say, wedding invitations.

April Paper Pumpkin Alternate - a Shutter Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing another Paper Pumpkin Alternate Card using the April Paper Pumpkin kit "Here's To You". I knew I had this patterned paper in my stash, so pulled it out to work with the watermelon shaped card from the kit. I cut that watermelon into three pieces to use as elements on my Shutter Card and I have a walkthrough on YouTube:  

The watermelon seeds got some shimmer from a Wink of Stella pen, and I added the sweet HELLO die which is included in Karen Burniston's new Waterfall Die Set.

Below is what the card looks like when you slide off the Belly Band and open the card.

On the back of the scalloped piece, I adhered a piece of transparency. I love the shine you get from acetate and on a shutter card I like that it looks more like a camera lens shutter!

Mini Slimline Sunburst Card Duo

Hello!  The Fun Friday Challenge #164 is SCRAPS. I don't know about you, but I have LOTS of scraps of card stock and patterned paper in my craft room so this was a fun challenge for sure. I used the SCRAPworks Mini Sunburst die set, cutting it from SCRAPS of card stock & patterned paper. The images were stamped on SCRAPS of white card stock.  :-)  

The Scrapworks Mini Sunburst die set is very versatile, and I cut the sunburst portion three times from scrap blue card stock, once from scrap green card stock and twice from scraps of green patterned paper. That gave me all the pieces I needed to create a full sunburst but instead I made it into two halves and created twoMini Slimline  Birthday Cards.

I used two different embossing folders to add texture to these 'Clean and Simple' cards, and a few Gumdrops as well. All the Your Next Stamp supplies I used are linked below. Both cards will be donated to my Mom's old nursing home.
