Good morning friends
It's no surprise that the inside is a Pop-Up but that I used Karen Burniston's Cupcake Pop-up might be a surprise. It can actually be a nice generic pop-up if you are creative covering the cupcake shape.
I added white glittered foliage to the back of the tree. In our part of the world, we often get at least one snowfall before the leaves have fallen from the trees so a leafy tree with snow is not unusual to see. I also added a smattering of snowflakes, some cut from glittered card stock and some from white.
The greeting was stamped on a stitched circle, and I added some small Wild Whisper leaf stamps using second generation stamping so they don't distract from the words.
Finally, a side view so you can see the Pop-Up a little better.
It's time for another Paper Pro's challenge and this month I'm the one who gave the challenge to create a Winter Birthday card.
Even though this leafy patterned paper isn't specifically winter, I like the frosty wintery colours. I tied some white seam binding around the strip at the top, and added a glittery snowflake charm from the Winter Charms set. The stamped oval was white embossed on a journal card from the coordinating Adventure Card Pack at Wild Whisper.
