Good morning friends
These are the five tags all together, fronts and backs are decorated.
For this first tag, I used the largest decorator tag from Karen Burniston's new Tag Book Pop-Up so not counting the ribbon it is a full 6" long and 3" wide!
I like my tags to be really sturdy, so I cut a second large tag from white card stock and adhered them back to back. The patterned paper has red foiled bits which catch the light.
I ADORE this Gingerbread charm. I was able to make him into a regular gingerbread man by snipping off the hang hole. The large hearts are also from the Tag Book Pop-Up and the tiny heart is from the new Cat and Dog animals.
Tag #2 is 3-1/4" square, not counting the ribbon. The Gingerbread man is holding onto a wreath from the Sleigh Pop-Up.
Both the large stitched circle and beaded ring come from the Snowman Twist Circle Pop-Up. I love that all Karen Burniston's dies work so well together and it's fun to mix and match dies from the different sets.
This is the back of the tag. The gingerbread man was stamped on the kraft stitched circle with watermark ink.
This third tag uses more elements from the new Tag Book Pop-Up, including the tag, hearts and rectangular beaded frame. The Gingerbread man embellishment is the smaller one from the Winter charms, and his details were added on with a white gel pen. The die has this stencil feature, which makes it really easy to do.
Once again, I like sturdy tags so I cut three of them. One from the foiled patterned paper and two from white. One white tag was adhered to the back of the patterned paper one, and then the second white tag was attached with bakers twine through the hole. I like the way the white one shifts around and you can see it from the front as well.
I added some Washi tape, a die cut heart and stamped words to the back.
Tag #4 is circular, and about 3" across. I used the circle dies from the Snowman Twist Circle and the tree from the Winter Charms.
The tree also has the stencil feature which is how I added the details with a white gel pen. Another tiny heart from the Cat and Dog die set sits on top of the tree with a bit of Wink of Stella.
The back side is decorated with a kraft zig zag circle that is actually the centre of the beaded frame on the front - nothing got wasted!
The 5th and final tag was made with the Gift Card Label. I cut it twice from white card stock, sandwiched the ribbon in between the two layers then adhered them together. I'm loving that tree trunk ring stamp from Wild Whisper and am having trouble not stamping it on EVERYTHING!
This tag has another tree and two small gingerbread men - all cut from kraft card stock and embellished with a white gel pen.
The back side has a stamped two & from, another wood ring stamp and a strip of the foiled patterned paper.
It's time for Karen Burniston's November 2017 Designer Challenge, which is "Gingerbread". I knew I wanted to make some tags with the wonderful Winter Charms die set, and this is what I came up with:
After I took the photos below, I realized there was no scale to show the tag sizes ... so hubby offered to hold onto them while I took the above photo.

I hope you have enjoyed my tags, and that I've inspired you to use your Pop-Up dies for other things too. I used bits from SIX different Karen Burniston Riley die sets for these tags!! Our dies are an investment and anytime you get more mileage from a die set it's a good thing.
