Masculine Gift Card Holder

Good morning friends

It's Masculine Card Monday here on my blog and I have a gift card holder to share made using some awesome products from Wild Whisper Designs. I'm a relatively new Wild Whisper customer but a huge fan! Never mind that they are a Canadian company (woot!!) - they are also based out of Calgary which is my home town.

I have been making a number of these Gift Card holders, but rarely post things in the order I make them. This is actually the latest one I've done, the others are mostly Christmas. I first saw this pattern on YouTube, by Dawn's Stamping Thoughts and had to make one immediately. I don't put the same number of matted panels on mine, but the base pattern is easy peasy and works like a charm. You can see her video HERE.

I made this one specifically for our son, who loves the great outdoors. He camps off grid, he hikes, fishes and will soon be hunting as well. The papers, journal cards and stamps from Wild Whisper's ADVENTURE collection were just perfect for him, including the journal card with the lovely quote that I added inside. I added some stamped tree rings and coloured in the white part of the mountains with a Copic marker, then just adhered the journal card inside the Gift Card holder. Easy peasy!

Supplies:
Sage green textured card stock
Adventure patterned paper - Wild Whisper Designs
Adventure Stamps - Wild Whisper Designs
Adventure Journal Card - Wild Whisper Designs
Wonky stitched rectangle die - MFT Stamps
Copic marker

Thanks for stopping by today
