Good morning friends
This card started out with the little banner scrap of patterned paper which was leftover from a different card I'd been working on. I thought I should be able to do something with that little piece, so trimmed it slightly to 2-1/2 x 3-1/2" and rounded the bottom corners.
The party hats were in my stash - I made a couple of them last year so I would have some ready when needed. They were stamped on white card stock that was then covered with thin double sided tape on the front. I peeled off the tape liner and rubbed in Silk Microfine Glitter then coloured the hats with Copic markers and fussy cut them out.
The inside of this one uses my newest Blueprints Die set (#31) which I'm really happy with.
The second card also uses the Blueprints #31 - this time on the front. You are going to see a lot of this die set on my cards in the future.
I'm still working on using up this paper pad and am getting down to just a few 12 x 12" sheets left with a manageable pile of scrap pieces. It works really well for boy birthday cards so I'm having fun with it again.
Since our Grandkids are getting older and attend a lot more Birthday Party's, I want to give my daughters a nice selection of kids Birthday Cards as part of their Mother's Day gift. So far I've been focusing on boy cards as they take a little more thought to execute.
