Good morning friends:
Since the patterned paper had a cool honeycomb print on one side and bees & bee trails on the other, I added a bee from Karen Burniston's Flower & Bee die set then lots of glitter.
The cute cupcake sticker was in my stash, and it worked perfectly on this card. Lynda's Photo Frame die sets also come with stamps, so I used her stamps on the card as well.
The images on the reverse side were heat embossed with white powder and I added a white label to the third one as a place to sign our name.
I thought this card turned out so cheery, and since my Mom's Birthday card stash has been depleted this one will likely go to her.
It's Flip-It Friday here on my blog and I have a Birthday Flip-It card to share today. First of all, this is one of my new Flip-it die sets ... This Spring I managed to pick up a couple of new sets to play with. I do love to make Flip-It cards! On this one, I did something a little different, and used the words from Sizzix Designer Lynda Kanase's Photo Frame, Celebrate to cut away the 'hooray' on two of the labels. Lynda's Photo Frames are great for Instax photos, but I'm finding all kinds of ways to use the die sets as shown with this card.
