White Embossed Wedding Card

This wedding card is one I made for a friends daughter. Because I had offered to make our friends a special wedding card for them to give (see it HERE), I didn't want to make ours a pop up as well. I decided on 'white on white with texture'.

The front panel is white pearl cardstock and I ran it through with a 5x7" embossing folder. Since it would be hand delivered I was free to add extra dimension with layers of foam tape. The front panel was layered onto the white card base with foam tape and I like the shadows this gives - especially in that centre cut out area. The embossing folder also cuts this area at the same time it embosses ❤️.

Inside I added a full panel of the holographic cardstock. Then I die cut a smaller white pearlized panel with a stitched die, and a heart from the centre so the holographic cardstock shows through the opening. A smaller heart was stamped with the sentiment and popped into the opening with foam tape.

Finally I added some mirrored hearts and the card was finished. In the photo below the rainbow really shows up from the holographic cardstock because of my lighting but in the next picture the colour is more true. It definitely reads more as silver than rainbow.

Having been asked how many cards I make I thought it would be fun to keep track this year. Many of my posts include more than a single card or project and below is my tally.

I decided to cancel the subscription that provided linked thumbnails to what products I used on my cards. It was costing me out of pocket each month, so I’m back to listing what I used with a few affiliate links included.
