Good morning friends
Today I'd like to share two more flower shaped cards I made for my Mom. I sent her one in the mail each week we were away, to let her know I was thinking about her and thought it would be fun for her to have a whole display of flowers on her sofa table. Nothing like a cheerful flower when the weather is cold and snowy!
For this first card I chose not to use the top layering dies, instead using just the base layers and pretty patterned paper. The butterfly sticker is layered, and only the body is stuck down so the wings lift as if the butterfly is about to fly away.
For the pink one I added all the layering pieces and some white gel pen highlights.
She was counting the days until we were back from our vacation, so this last one helped her know that we would be home soon. It's nice to be missed! Of course we visited her as soon as we could, and it was fun to see the bouquet of Flower Fold-It's on her sofa table. I did notice that the one top fold card was having trouble standing upright, which is my biggest complaint about most top fold cards. I likely will continue to make the Fold-It's as side fold cards so they display better.

White and yellow card stocks
