Good morning friends
Today is actually a Paper Pro's challenge for "No Socks Day". Honestly my head was stuck with an idea using one of Karen Burniston's upcoming release, but since we can't share sneak peeks of those yet I didn't make it. I could have used this card for the challenge and said I wasn't wearing socks when I made it, because I made it when we were in Arizona and I certainly wasn't wearing socks. But decided to pass on the challenge and post my card as it is - a cheerful Cupcake Pop-Up Birthday card using dies by Karen Burniston and Lynda Kanase.
I kept the front nice and simple - I've been enjoying these Lawn Fawn Frame dies, so used one here along with a little cupcake from the Birthday Charms and a stamped greeting.
Inside is where all the fun is!
Lynda Kanase's Photo Frame stamp and die sets are meant to work with Instax Photos, but I have lots of fun using them for my card making too. The little banner and stamp are from the Celebrate set. I added clear Nuvo drop crystals to the cupcake icing for some shimmer and shine, and glossy accents on the cherry. I also added the little scalloped border from the Cake Pop-Up, cut from both yellow and white card stocks then layered with an offset. They are the perfect size for a top fold A2 sized card.
The HOORAY was die cut from a hand cut banner ... it's another die from the Photo Frame, Celebrate set.
