Second Pair of Flower Shaped Cards

Good morning friends

Today I'm sharing another two flower cards, made with the Flower Fold-Its die set by Stephanie Barnard for Sizzix. I have been sending my Mom a card each week and so far four have gone to her to let her know I'm thinking about her. Because they stand upright for display, I thought it would be fun to send her these flower shaped cards and she can have a whole bouquet standing on her sofa table.

I used ECD's Soft Finish card stock for this first card which is white on the reverse side. So for the white curved petals, I simply flipped the dark pink negative pieces over to show the white and inserted them back in the openings.

Inside I penned a greeting for her ...

Below is the second card, made using some older patterned paper from my stash. I liked how all the colours and patterns coordinated together. For the leaf vein layer, I fussy cut the outline and adhered them to the leaf layer.

Some sweet stamping done inside and another card finished for Mom's bouquet.
