Basket of Flowers Pop-Up Birthday Card

Good morning friends

Today's card actually uses a bunch of new goodies! I had a friend join me for a few days of crafting and shopping for crafting and we had a lot of fun.

I have several background dies, and recently purchased a few more. With the MISTI, using large background dies no longer requires putting everything on the floor and stepping on the large stamp (wood mount) to get an even impression so I plan on using background dies more this year. The water colour looking stripes is one of my new purchases from Stampin' Up.

I added a panel of vellum cut with a stitched mini scalloped rectangle and added Wink of Stella shimmer to the stitched line. It's hard to see in the photos, but it does catch the light when you hold the card. There is more sparkle as well - from the sequins and the glitter glue on the flowers.

Inside I used another stamped panel and the Katherine Label Pop-Up to animate the die cut circle.

I really like all the dimension the Katherine Label Pop-Up gives.
