C4C398 Fox Twist Panel Pop-Up

Good morning friends

It's Saturday so that means a new challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Our August 2017 Hostess is Raquel Mason and Fran Sabad is our Guest Designer. You can find Fran's Blog HERE

Here is Raquel's challenge: "Monochromatic – Make a card that has different shades of one color. Example – different shades of blue or different shades of green. You may use white or black as an accent".

I love these beautiful water coloured patterned papers by Alexandra Renke so used them here to make a Pop-Up Birthday card for a friend. The colours are monochromatic and I used grey as the accent colour.

It may be hard to see in the photo, but above the foxes it says 'Heartfelt greetings' in a soft grey that was printed on the paper.

Some of the images were fussy cut from the sheet, others were cut with dies.

I used the Twist Panel Pop-Up by Karen Burniston to create the fun pop-up inside.

I really enjoyed making this card - the Twist Panel Pop-Up is so much fun to use, and the look of the card changes completely depending on the colours and embellishments used. Because I used flat embellishments on the panels, this card easily fit into an envelope for mailing.

Check out the C4C blog to see how the Crazies have been inspired by the challenge. We'd  love to see your take on it, so be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and link up your creations. If you are uploading to an online gallery, please use the keyword C4398.
