Thanksgiving Flower Pot Pop-Up

Good morning friends

I have a special card today, that I made for Thanksgiving. I've had this sparkly & foiled patterned paper for several years yet never seem to make a dent in it. For this card, I fussy cut several of the decorative borders and labels from coordinating papers in the stack.

Below you can see the lovely foiled bits, and the sparkle in some of the burlap stripes. I added a strip of gold foil card stock as well. The' Thanks' is from Karen Burniston's Word Set 1 - Greetings, and I paired it with a handwritten 'give' for the greeting on the card front.

Inside is the Flower Pot Pop-Up filled with autumn coloured flowers and vines. Isn't it amazing that this folds up completely flat for mailing?

While it's hard to see in the photo, the burgundy labels are die cut from a heavy burgundy printed card stock with embossed flowers on it. They catch the light when the card is turned - so pretty. The flowers and vine's were spattered with some Colorburst's after die cutting to add a bit of variance to each one. Then I could shape them a little while they were damp and left them to dry.

It's no wonder the Flower Pot Pop-Up is such a popular die!
