White Christmas Card

Hello!  Today I'm sharing the Christmas card I made for a friend. I have really enjoyed using these silhouette dies from Creative Expressions for holiday cards, and look forward to bringing out some of the other designs I purchased once I'm done sharing holiday cards!

I didn't really like the gold foiled stars showing through the word Christmas, so I die cut the 'Christmas' area again from navy card stock. After attaching the fallaway white letters under the navy ones, I dropped them back into the openings and added shimmer with Wink of Stella. This part was a little fiddly, but I liked the look a lot more.

The iridescent snowflake is from Stampin' Up, as is the patterned paper - long retired.

Here is a peek at the inside - where I created the sentiment layer with a Snowflake border die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I assumed it was retired, but when I checked it was still in stock - AND ON SALE - so I was able to link it for you!  sentiment stamp is another oldie-but goodie .

This blog uses affiliate links whenever possible. This means, that at no cost to you, if you make a purchase through one of my affiliate links that I may receive a small commission from your purchase. I only link products that I own, love and use for my card making!

Any supplies I'm unable to link are listed at the very bottom of my post

Additional Supplies:
5 x 6.5" card and envelope - Michaels
Adhesive backed snowflake sequins - Stampin' Up (retired)
Sentiment - possibly Hero Arts (many years old and well used!)
Shimmer Spray
