Square Snowflake Pop Up Card

Hello!  I don't often make square cards, even though I really like the look of them. I don't like having the excess on either side if I use a standard envelope, and I really don't like having to pay the extra postage for mailing a square envelope here in Canada. This card however, just seemed to lean towards a square format so I went with it. This one is a 5" square card and will be mailed in an A7 envelope, which fits a 5 x 7" card.

The outside is very sparkly, with silver foiled patterned paper, silver mirror card stock and an iridescent snowflake. 😊. You know how I love sparkle and shine! There is even a shimmery sequin in the centre of the snowflake, which was leftover from a Paper Pumpkin kit. It was the last one on the sheet so I had to add it so I could be finished with it. I had moved that sheet around on my stamping table too many times, ha ha.

Inside I used Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop Up to animate the greeting and everything that is available is linked below. I had purchased both the grey and the blue snowflake patterned paper from Lawn Fawn, so added a scrap of the blue on the left of the card for a pop of colour.

I just love all the height and dimension you get with the Katherine Label Pop Up yet it's quick and easy to assemble! You can find all of Karen Burniston's assembly video's on her website HERE.
