Jack O'Lantern Card

I was going through my Halloween papers and found this (older) 12x12" package from Stampin' Up. I must have used my Scan 'n Cut to cut the Jack O'Lanterns from one sheet and witch hats from another as there were quite a few in with the papers. Using black card stock I pulled out one of the Picture This background dies, which cuts these stitched circles.I backed the openings with white card stock then I just played around with the cut outs until I was happy. I added some stamped greetings from a couple of different stamp sets to finish it off.

After adhering the decorated background panel to an A2 sized patterned paper panel I realized that there was an awful lot of black. I wish I had cut the background smaller than 4 x 5/25 and actually make a note on a scrap of card stock and included it in the package with the dies so I remember the next time.

I found some Peel Off border stickers and decided that they brightened up the edges enough that I was ok with the card so it got mounted to a white card base.

Below is a peek at the inside whereI used an older greeting stamp (by Karen Burniston) and a few more of the cut out pieces to decorate it.
