Hello! It's Fun Fold Friday here on my blog and today I'm sharing several different versions of a Gift Card Holder I make frequently AND I have a tutorial on YouTube:
I pulled out a 12 x 12" package of patterned paper that was a 'free with purchase' for Sale A Bration at Stampin' Up. When you use double sided papers for this Gift Card Holder, you see the pattern on the inside as well.
For this first Gift Card holder, I added a stitched circle, a chipboard plaid moose and the Enjoy from Karen Burniston's Word Set 6 Summer.
As I said in the video, this 'pattern' is not my original idea. Back in 2017 I saw a video by Dawn of Dawns Stamping Thoughts and I wanted to credit her with the idea.

ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous ... since Blogger doesn't have a comment reply option, I have to answer as a separate comment. The patterned paper I used is from Stampin' Up. It's comparable to a lot of patterned papers on the market - and lightweight would be better than a heavy card stock I would think. I do stay away from patterned paper from DCWV or Recollections for these specifically though, as they are heavier and tend to crack at the folds. Those papers - I buy and love them - I cut down to use as layers. So if that is what I had for these gift card holders, I would use a lightweight card stock (60# ish) for the gift card holder itself, then add panels of the patterned paper to decorate.
