Brighten Your Day Slimline Card

Hello!  Well friends, I finally did it. I tried to resist the whole layering stencil thing but finally caved and purchased this stamp, die and layering stencil set by Pinkfresh Studio. (Everything is linked below). And you know what? I'm thrilled ... just thrilled with it. While I don't mind colouring it isn't something I love to do and so many floral stamps require a LOT of colouring. Especially one this size.

I've never been one to Google images so they can be coloured exactly as they 'should' be, preferring whimsical and fresh to realistic. The layering stencils are much faster, and you can still choose your colours but you also have the option of adding heat embossing etc etc. I could sit and play with this set for days.

This Slimline card is the first one I created using the set but you know you will be seeing more cards as I have some other colour combinations and card designs in mind.

I left the inside with lots of room to write a note, adding some patterned paper and tiny gold punched butterflies.
