Chevron Sympathy Card Trio

Good morning friends

One of my fall purchases was Els' Chevron Background Die. I have had some fun with it and I think it is a classic design that I'll be able to use for years.

While we were in Arizona, my neighbour lost a dear friend and I wanted to make her a sympathy card. My Mom is often needing sympathy cards so I ended up making three nearly identical ones. One for my neighbour and two to tuck into my Mom's Christmas stocking.

I really like the tone on tone look of the first card. I added some crisp white stitched leaves for some contrast.

Here is a peek at the inside - all three cards were done the same.

On this final card, I went over the 'with sympathy' die with a Wink of Stella pen.

Note, you can find my cards from July 2011 - December 2016 on Alteredscrapbooking.blogspot.ca   I had a bunch of cards made ahead, which are already water marked with alteredscrapbooking and I'm choosing not to re-do all those photos with the Painted Mountain Cards watermark.
